OBKG x OSCD Dialogue

OBKG:Manga, animation, and game courses are very popular with international students. Many want to study Japanese culture in Japan.
OSCD:Right. All courses start from basics. No experience needed. If you love manga or want to work in animation, that’s enough.
OBKG:What if their dream is still unclear?
OSCD:That happens. Some can’t choose between games, anime, or manga. It’s fine. Changing your major later is common.
No one treats you as a foreigner.
This tough but friendly environment helps you grow.
OBKG:How do classes run?
OSCD:We don’t separate international students. OSCD has 600 students; about 70 are international. In a class of 30, there are 3–4 international students. Everyone studies the same content, together.
We teach technical skills—and the Japanese language and terms needed to work in Japan.

Many career paths. Jobs across Japan.
OBKG:So that’s why OSCD graduates succeed in Japan.
OSCD:Exactly. Companies see all graduates equally. Many international students work with the same salary and conditions as Japanese staff. Starting pay is around ¥185,000–¥220,000.
We introduce jobs nationwide and support work visa applications.
Build skills. Build Japanese. Build your future.
OBKG:What Japanese level is required for admission?
OSCD:N2 is ideal, but OBKG students are welcome even without it. The first three months are hard, but come every day. Your listening will jump quickly. After one year, many reach near-native level.
In the beginning, your technical progress may feel slow. That’s normal. True growth takes about six months. After that, improvements come fast. We will get through that period together.

Some graduates became chief designers at major Japanese snack brands.
At first, your skills may feel stuck. You might even want to give up.
But real growth kicks in after about six months—then everything accelerates.
We’ll push through that tough stretch together and chase big dreams.
Some graduates became chief designers at major Japanese snack brands.
Others returned home and rose to fame as manga artists.
You could be next.
